GORAJUARA - Pada hari Minggu 17 September 2023, BigHit Music agensi dari BTS ini mengumumkan tanggal wajib militer SUGA.
Tepatnya pada hari Jumat 22 September, Suga BTS yang memiliki nama asli Min Yoongi akan menjalankan wamil menyusul member lBTS lainnya yatu Kim Seokjin dan J-Hope.
Di Korea Selatan, wajib militer adalah suatu kegiatan yang wajib diikuti dan dilakukan oleh pria berusia 18 tahun keatas, wamil ditempuh selama 2 tahun sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Dinas Militer Tahun 2020.

Sebelum memulai wamil, Suga menuntaskan tur konser untuk promosi album solonya 'D-DAY' pada bulan lalu, yang mana digelar pada bulan April - Agustus 2023 di Amerika Serikat, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapura, dan Jepang.
